It's been a while!

It's been a long while that I posted on my blogs. I don't know why. It just so happened that I felt so tired and lazy posting on my blogs. My mind just got lazy as well that it seems nothing is coming out. No ideas, nothing, just wanted to sleep and work.

Anyhow, in-between this period, i was able to create a full web-site. It is now running though it is still in the development stages. The host is provided free by www.epinoy.com. You can can check out my website my.epinoy.com

So here it goes. Before I go, I would like to let you know that our team in tennis got the championship. "We are the champions!" Yehey.

That's all for now. see you soon.

One Thousand Dollars A Night!

This story represents the things that are happening with our country. You will find out!

The madam opened the brothel door to see a rather dignified, well-dressed good-looking man in his late 40’s or early 50’s. “Can I help you?” she asked. “I want to see Natalie” the man replied. “Sir, Natalie is one of our most expensive ladies. Perhaps you would prefer someone else.” said the madam. “No, I must see Natalie” was the man’s reply. Just then, Natalie appeared and announced to the man that she charged US1,000 a visit.

Without hesitation, the man pulled out ten one hundred dollar bills and gave them to Natalie and they went upstairs. After an hour, the man calmly left.

The next night, the same man appeared again, demanding to see Natalie. Natalie explained that no one had ever come back two night in a row – too expensive – and there were no discounts. The price was still US1,000.

Again the man pulled out the money, gave it to Natalie and they went upstairs. After an hour he left.

The following night the man was there again. Everyone was astounded that he had come for the third consecutive night, but he paid Natalie and they went upstairs. After their session, Natalie questioned the man. “No one has ever used me three nights in a row. Where are you from?” she asked. The man replied, “South Carolina.”
“Really” she said. “I have family in South Carolina”
“I know”, the man said.
“Your father died and I am you sister’s attorney. She asked me to give you your US3,000 inheritance.”

Now tell me, is there any difference with what our corrupt government officials and politicians doing to us and our country.

The question is WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH THEM?

The Show Continues.

So after the senator’s escort service hearing, our respectable congressmen are now grilling the millionaire general who keeps saying “I invoke my constitutional right against self-incrimination.” Well what’s new? Of course nothing is new! As it has always been, nothing is coming out of this whole show entitled “In aid of legislation.” Or better put, “in aid of personal agenda.” More media exposure and media mileage.

In not so distant past, how many investigations these so called honorable legislators conducted? Countless! In fact, most of them were controversial that started as a blind item in the tabloids, to entertainment pages, TV, and to congress and the senate. The wave was so great that our legislators thought it was worth our tax money to surf and ride with them. The problem was, we did not say anything. We just let them; we were entertained and amazed. No wonder, our country is going down with that wave but ending not in the beautiful beaches of Boracay but to the gates of hell because needed laws to cure our problems never found a space. They were simply covered not by sand but by dust.

And who said that these congressmen and senators really meant business in doing these investigation of the general and the escort girl? I bet they are only there for the show. Why? Nothing will ever come out from these as it was in the past. What happened to the Brunei Beauties, the Japayukis, the Mawanay, the Kuratong Baleleng, etc., etc… Tell me, do you remember any laws aided by these investigations. Aha! That’s it. There was NOTHING!

Part of the problem here is us. We are all blind, numb, and helpless. The worst, we care less. Who cares if most of these politicians, military and government officials have unexplained million-worth of properties in exclusive subdivisions or even in our neighborhoods? Who cares if they have huge investments and big amount of money in the banks? Who cares if they and their children ride in BMW’s and Mercedes Benzes while we and our children takes a pedicab or walk miles and miles everyday? Who cares if their children are in exclusive schools and universities and our children are somewhere else? Who cares? Not us, not even the so-called communists (they never touch nor kill them all.). What the heck?

We voted them! We get what we deserved!

-----------------------------------------------------

Some two or three weeks ago, I saw on TV senator ????? Jingoy. He was on with the escort service hearing. Poging-pogi. He got pictures as evidences. Magaling di ba? Well prepared. At the end however, he said something like this. ‘I will recommend to the city official to close these establishments showing lude shows.” What was it jingoy? You don’t need to recommend anything. Lude shows are illegal even before you were born. As former mayor you know exactly how and why this is happening. Anyhow, this time you are excused. Kasi baka may epekto pa ang pagkakakulong mo. He he he.

Another senator, the kumpadre Bong Revilla when told that he should not do tv shows or movies anymore, he said “You know the salary of a senator is very small, so I need to find another source of income.” Oh my, why? Nagakamali ba sya ng desisyon or computation? Was he thinking before running for senator that the senate was a good place to earn a good living and is more lucrative than being in the movie? Hoy!

How To Poison Your Mother-in-Law

By Da Vinci

A long time ago in China, a girl named Li-Li got married and went to live with her husband and mother-in-law. In a very short time, Li-Li found that she couldn't get along with her mother-in-law at all. Their personalities were very different, and Li-Li was angered by many of her mother-in-law's habits. In addition, she criticized Li-Li constantly.

Days passed, and weeks passed. Li-Li and her mother-in-law never stopped arguing and fighting. But what made the situation even worse was that, according to ancient Chinese tradition, Li-Li had to bow to her mother-in law and obey her every wish. All the anger and unhappiness in the house was causing Li-Li's poor husband great distress. Finally, Li-Li could not stand her mother-in-law's bad temper and dictatorship any longer, and she decided to do something about it. Li-Li went to see her father's good friend, Mr. Huang, who sold herbs. She told him the situation and asked if he would give her some poison so that she could solve the problem once and for all. Mr. Huang thought for a while, and finally said, "Li-Li, I will help you solve your problem, but you must listen to me and obey what I tell you." Li-Li said, "Yes, Mr. Huang, I will do whatever you tell me to do." Mr. Huang went into the back room, and returned in a few minutes with a package of herbs. He told Li-Li, "You can't use a quick-acting poison to get rid of your mother-in-law, because that would cause people to become suspicious. Therefore, I have given you a number of herbs that will slowly build up poison in her body. Every other day prepare some delicious meal and put a little of 1these herbs in her serving. Now, in order to make sure that nobody suspects you when she dies, you must be very careful to act very friendly towards her. Don't argue with her, obey her every wish, and treat her like a queen." Li-Li was so happy. She thanked Mr. Huang and hurried home to start her plot of murdering her mother-in-law.

Weeks went by, and months went by, and every other day, Li-Li served the specially treated food to her mother-in-law. She remembered what Mr. Huang had said about avoiding suspicion, so she controlled her temper, obeyed her mother-in-law, and treated her like her own mother. After six months had passed, the whole household had changed. Li-Li had practiced controlling her temper so much that she found that she almost never got mad or upset. She hadn't had an argument with her mother-in-law in six months because she now seemed much kinder and easier to get along with. The mother-in-law's attitude toward Li-Li changed, and she began to love Li-Li like her own daughter. She kept telling friends and relatives that Li-Li was the best daughter-in-law one could ever find. Li-Li and her mother-in-law were now treating each other like a real mother and daughter. Li-Li's husband was very happy to see what was happening.

One day, Li-Li came to see Mr. Huang and asked for his help again. She said,” Dear Mr. Huang, please help me to keep the poison from killing my mother-in-law! She's changed into such a nice woman, and I love her like my own mother. I do not want her to die because of the poison I gave her." Mr. Huang smiled and nodded his head. "Li-Li, there's nothing to worry about. I never gave you any poison. The herbs I gave you were vitamins to improve her health. The only poison was in your mind and your attitude toward her, but that has been all washed away by the love which you gave to her."

HAVE YOU REALIZED that how you treat others is exactly how they will treat you? There is a wise Chinese saying: "The person who loves others will also be loved in return." God might be trying to work in another person's life through you. Send this to your friends and spread the POWER OF LOVE.

For Miss Rio Diaz.

Today is a Rio Diaz day for me. All my blog pages will be carrying this post in memory of a woman of strength and courage, who for the past six years battled cancer courageously and very calmly with so much faith in her heart. That for me is the real essence of pure courage and strength that is innate in all of us. The kind of courage and strength that inspires people who are sick and dying. The kind of faith that all of us should have, sick or not.

Wherever you are now, I am praying for your soul. I am giving you my highest respect.

May God bless your soul and may you rest in peace.

Note: I do not know Miss Rio Diaz personally. I knew her only on TV.
